An elevated view from tee to green of the short Par 3, 3rd hole of the Bandon Preserve course. This is the second shortest hole on the course at 87 yards from the back tee but it can be deceiving in its apparent simplicity. There is a bunker and the sensitive protected area on the right to catch blocked shots and steep green side dunes on the left for a pulled shot. The depth and contours of the green are also difficult to see from the tee. Bandon Preserve is the fifth course of the acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. The course opened in 2012. Architects – Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw with assistance by David Zinkand.
