The picture-postcard Par 3, 5th hole of the Bandon Preserve course. Standing on the tee gives the player an unbelievably artistic view of golf, landscape, and seashore. A safe shot is to the right side of the green. A risky shot to a left pin location must avoid going too long and falling off what appears to be the end of the course. Short shots can surprise by getting better and better rolling down the slope to the green. The cliffside Bandon Dunes course can be seen in the distance. Bandon Preserve is the fifth course of the acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. The course opened in 2012. Architects – Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw with assistance by David Zinkand.
