The long Par 3, 7th hole of the Bandon Preserve course as seen from behind the green with the Pacific Ocean beyond. It is difficult to judge the distance to the hole. The contours of the elevated green are difficult to discern from the tee. The green is one of two greens that make up the double green of 27,000 square feet, one of the largest on the resort. The hole is uphill and is the longest on the course at 147 yards from the back tee. First putts can be a real challenge with the severely undulating green. Bandon Preserve is the fifth course of the acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. The course opened in 2012. Architects – Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw with assistance by David Zinkand.
