The par 4, severe dogleg left 7th hole of the Old Macdonald Course is the most photographed hole on the course due to the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean from the elevated green as well as views of the course to the east. The elevated green complex was created by sculpting into the natural high western dune and its surface can not be seen on the approach shot. Too short an approach will come back down the slope to the fairway below and too long an approach will go over the green and likely into one of the ocean side bunkers. Old Macdonald is the fourth course of the acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. The course opened in 2010. Architects, Tom Doak and Jim Urbina.
