A sunset accented view from the upper tee of the surf backed par 3 10th hole of the Pacific Dunes Course of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. This elevated tee provides a view of the Pacific Ocean surf background and makes the tee shot an exciting downhill shot after a series of inland holes. Shots to the right on the side of the surrounding dune will often feed back onto the green if not too far right. Beware of going over the green, bad things happen. There is also a lower tee that gives an entirely different perspective of the hole without the dramatic views of the upper tee. This view was taken with golden light highlighting the surrounding dune grasses. The course has been ranked at the very top of the U.S. public course rankings since its opening in 2001.
