The challenging par 3 5th hole of the Pacific Dunes Course of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. This view looking south from the upper tee area of the 10th hole puts in context with the Pacific Ocean to the west. The green is very deep with a lot of elevation change. Typical of links golf one option for the tee shot is to aim to the left side of the front of the green and allow for a lot of runout and a large swing to the right and toward the hole. A shot hit to the right may find havoc with several bunkers. The course has been ranked at the very top of the U.S. public course rankings since its opening in 2001.
