This is a view from above the tees of one of the favorite one shot holes of the resort. The par 3, 17th hole is the transition from the meadow landscape to the dune finish of the Bandon Trails Course of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Bandon, Oregon. A view of the Pacific Ocean can be seen from this elevated vantage point. The green is protected by bunkers on both sides and has a false front that will return balls to the low area in front of the green for shots that are not hit to the upper portions of the green. The Bandon Trails is the third course of the acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The course opened in 2005. Architect, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
